Hageman Road and Calloway Drive

Riverlakes Community Church is at the intersection of Calloway Drive and Hageman Road in Northwest Bakersfield. This is the first phase of a four-phase project located on a 25± acre site. The initial construction included a multi-purpose building designed to be utilized as an interim sanctuary which doubles as a recreation center containing a full basketball court and a commercial kitchen. The first phase also includes an educational building with interim parking for the initial phase and an outside recreation athletic field. Ultimately the entire project will include a 2,200 seat sanctuary, two educational wings, the existing multi-purpose building and an administration office.

The project developer was Gregory D. Bynum & Associates, the architect was Jim Ward, and S.C. Anderson Inc., was the contractor.
